FASTCAM MC1 Hardware Manual

Camera Settings

1. Input the synchronization signal from the device to be recorded into the camera. Connect

the synchronizing device’s output signal to the camera controller’s

SYNC IN

connector using

a BNC cable.

2. When the synchronization signal is input to the

SYNC IN

connector, the

SYNC IN LED

(yellow) on the front of the camera controller will light.

3. Press the

MENU

key on the keypad and the menu list will display.

4. Select the

SYNC IN

from the

SYNC IN/OUT

submenu with the

ARROW

keys.

5. Select the input signal with the

ARROW

↑↓

keys. Select

ON OTHERS POS

(positive

polarity) or

ON OTHERS NEG

(negative polarity) according to the polarity of the external

synchronization signal.

6. When finished, press the

ENTER

key to complete the setting.
