Chapter 2. Setup

2.2.9. I/O Connecters (BNC connectors)

By inputting an external trigger or synchronization signal, and by outputting an exposure timing or

synchronization signal, these signals can be used as a part of the

FASTCAM MC1

system. The

input/output signal connectors, TRIGGER IN, SYNC IN and GENERAL OUT connecters, on the

camera controller provide access to each type of signal.

1. TRIGGER

Connector

* Switch the type of input signal with the “Slide Switch”.

SYNC IN Connector

GENERAL OUT Connector

A signal other than the specified signal must not be input to the various connectors.

Use extreme caution as there is a risk of damage to both devices, the input device and the output device.

For signals that can be input, refer to “3.10. Input/Output Signal Types”
