Phoenix PC-1280 USB Digital Camera User’s Guide

could be caused . The DC Power applied to the camera should be 
regulated to reduce the noise of the video. On the Monochrome 
Model PC-1280/M, it is possible to operate the camera on the USB 
power alone. Since the camera consumes more power than the USB 
specification, the operation depends on the USB host/hub’s capa-
bility and the number of devices connected to the host/hub. The 
user should test his/her system for the reliability of the operation.

The power consumptions for the Phoenix PC-1280 are given here 
as a reference.

„ PC-1280/M: <= 2.3W
„ PC-1280/C: <= 2.8W

B.6 Operating Environment

„ Temperature during operation: 0 ~ 50 C (32 ~ 122 F)
„ Relative Humidity during operation: 20 ~ 80%, non-condens-

ing

„ Ventilation: Allow sufficient air circulation around the camera 

to prevent internal heat build-up.

„ Cleaning: The IR filter can be cleaned with high quality lens 

cleaning solution from the outside, if dusty. Avoid cleaning 
the camera with any kind of liquid cleaner, as it might get in-
side the camera and cause electronics failure.
