•
Connect the same armature as for the purging before opening and
flush with air for some seconds.
•
Replace the open end CPC with a closed valve
•
SLOWLY put the unit under pressure up to 7bar
•
Listen for sizzling noise
•
Open the valve and relief the pressure.

Finally it is time to check the units leak-proof. It is quite similar to the
leakage test. Here it is important to take the system as leak-proof and
reliable as possible to gain comparable results.

•
Connect an open end CPC Connector and a pressure-able Water
supply to the Connector Block
•
Flush the unit so it is filled with Water
•
Close the valve
•
Put under pressure with 15bar
•
Wait for a specific time (e.g. 30min)
•
Check for reasonable pressure loss
o
Values are strongly depending on test environment and tube
expansion for example
o
During the Training a loss of 1,5-2,5bar is usual in the first 10
minutes.
o
Refill to 15bar is recommended to detect leakages
•
Relief the pressure
•
Purge with air
CAUTION !
Never plug the CPC connectors under
pressure during the Test, they will get
damaged.
