EPLACING THE LITHIUM BATTERY

REMOVING THE RETAINER CLIP
1) The battery is kept in place with a plugged in retainer clip. The retainer clip can be
removed from the battery compartment by carefully lifting the external tabs by using a
flat-bladed tool (screw driver).

REPLACING THE BATTERY
2) Now the lithium battery can be removed. It must only be replaced by the same battery
type. The type of battery to be used is:
Lithium battery 1/2AA 3V (e.g. Phoenix Contact part number: DZ-SONS-
04100-0)
Please observe the correct polarity when replacing the battery.
Warning:
There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with the wrong type or with the
wrong polarity. Adhere to the valid regulations for environmentally-friendly disposal of
batteries if the battery has reached the end of its life cycle.
