Start the first descaling cycle by pressing
the 1- and the 2-cup button briefly at the
same time.
The water comes out in intervals and the machine will
pause 3 times.
The CALC light and the ON/OFF light will start
to flash slowly.

Wait until the water reservoir is empty and
the first cycle is finished.
When the first cycle is finished the light ring
around the ON/OFF button starts to flash
rapidly.
The CALC light continues to blink slowly to
indicate the descaling procedure is
still activated.

Mix again 50 grams of citric acid with 1 liter
cold water in a separate jug.
Stir until the powder is dissolved.
Fill the water reservoir with the mixture.
When you take off the water reservoir from
the machine the ON/OFF light will blink fast.

Place the water reservoir back onto the
coffee machine and put a bowl with a
capacity of min. 1500ml under the spout.
Wait until the light around the ON/OFF
button is continuously lighted.
The light around the ON/OFF button will start
to blink slowly.
9.
Start the second descaling cycle by pressing
the 1- and the 2-cup button briefly at the
same time.
Wait until the water reservoir is empty and the second
cycle is finished.
The CALC light and the ON/OFF light will start
to flash slowly.
When the second cycle is finished the light
ring around the ON/OFF button starts to flash
rapidly.
The CALC light continues to blink slowly to
indicate the descaling procedure is still
activated.
After the descaling cycle with the descaling mixture, proceed 2 times the rinsing cycle with fresh
water. Do not switch off the appliance in between these two different cycles!

Fill the water reservoir up to the MAX indication with
fresh cold water.
