PRIME EXTENSION INCOMING CALL PICKUP
If the prime extension is the only extension with direct call pickup enabled, all incoming calls will
ring the prime extension telephone, followed by the system bell if this extension is not answered
within 10 seconds. The calls are available for pickup in order of arrival.
ENQUIRY CALL
When an extension is connected to an external call an enquiry call may be made to another extension.
To make an enquiry call:
(1) Switch-hook flash (SHF), receive dial tone.
(2) Dial the wanted extension number.
To reconnect to the external call, wait until the other extension clears from the call.
If the enquiry call is not answered or busy tone is received, SHF to return to the external call.
Hanging up before completion of dialling will cause the external call to be camped on the originating
extension.
EXTERNAL CALL TRANSFER
An extension can transfer an external call, when in the Enquiry Call mode by hanging up.
CAMP ON
If an extension transferring a call to another extension finds the other extension busy or not
answering, the transferring extension can still hang up. The external call will Camp On the called
extension.
If the called extension was ringing but not answering then the external call will Camp On Free and
the ring cadence will change.
If the called extension was busy the external call will Camp On Busy and the Camp On Tone will be
injected to the called extension. When the busy extension hangs up it will revert to Camp On Free.
After 25 seconds of Camp On Free or Camp On Busy the external call will return to the originating
extension and Camp On for 3 minutes before being disconnected.
