Intrusion Tone is heard by all 3 parties.
Return to the call on hold is by the intruding extension, hook flashing. Hang up by the intruding
extension, camps a trunk call on to the requested phone.
A mix of electronic and rotary dials is not compatible for intrusion on a trunk since hook flashing
or dial pulses by a rotary dial extension may result in dropping the electronic phone.
CALL DIVERSION
Calls can be diverted in 3 ways:
(1) Follow me – Instantaneous transference of call.
(2) On Busy – call transference if programming extension off hook.
(3) No answer – call transference if call not answered in 15 seconds.
The following applies to ALL diversions:
(1) Available for all internal and transferred calls.
(2) Available to all extensions except unequipped and paging extensions.
(3) The diverted “TO” extension can also have diversion invoked.
(4) To avoid endless loop, the last extension before the loop is completed, is determined by the
system as the end of the chain.
(5) Broken Dial Tone is heard by the diverting extension when going off hook. This indicates
diversion of some sort has been activated.
(6) To cancel – dial access code then own extension.
(7) These facilities are non-volatile on Battery backed microprocessor boards (MK 3) and are
retained on power-up reset.
(8) On non Battery backed boards these facilities are lost on power-up reset.
The following applies to Follow Me Diversion:
(1) Can receive calls from the diverted
The following applies to No Answer Diversion:
(1) The diverted “TO” extension can also have diversion invoked, but only one no answer is
actioned.
(2) Internal and transferred calls, (excluding returned Camp On), after 10 seconds of ring will
divert to the Diverted “TO” extension.
