2 Carefully insert the trimming head into
one of your nostrils.
3 Slowly move trimming head around
inside each nostril, making sure the side
of the tip is held firmly against the skin.
This will reduce the tickling effect that
can occur.
Do not insert the trimming head more
than 13/64
in, 5
mm into your nostrils.
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Trimming ear hair
Make sure your outer ear channels are
clean and free from wax.
Note: Remove eyebrow combs before
trimming nose or ear hair. (Fig. 13)
1 Switch on the product.
2 Slowly move the trimming head along
the rim of the ear to remove hairs that
stick out beyond the rim.
Do not insert the trimming head more
than 13/64
in, 5
mm into your ear
channel, as this could damage the
eardrum.
3 Carefully insert the trimming head into
the outer ear channel.
4 Slowly turn the trimming head around to
remove all unwanted hairs from your
outer ear channel (Fig. 15).
5 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Cleaning
Clean the product immediately after use
and when a lot of hair or dirt has
accumulated on the cutting elements.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or
any other liquid, or rinse it under the tap.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning
agents or aggressive liquids such as
gasoline or acetone to clean the product.
Do not tap on the cutting elements.
Do not use any sharp objects to clean the
cutting elements.
Never dry the cutting unit with a towel or
tissue, as this may damage the trimming
teeth.
1 Use the cleaning brush to remove any
excess hair from the cutting element.

2 Rinse the cutting element of the
trimming head with hot water.
3 Switch on the product and rinse the
cutting element once more to remove
any remaining hairs (Fig. 17). Then switch
off the product again.
Tip: If rinsing the trimming head under
the tap is not sufficient, immerse the
trimming head in a glass with warm water
for a few minutes (Fig. 18). Then switch on
the product and rinse it under the tap.
4 Rinse the combs with lukewarm water
(Fig. 19).
You can also use the cleaning brush to
clean the eyebrow combs.
5 Carefully shake off excess water and let
all parts air dry (Fig. 20).
Let all parts dry completely before you use
the product again.
