Switching the system on/off

briefly. The system will switch to the last selected
source.

To switch the system to standby mode

Switching the system to Eco
Power Standby mode

ECO POWER/STANDBY-ON

active mode.

The system enters Eco power standby (the
ECO POWER LED is on) or normal standby
mode with clock display.
●
The interactive sound settings, last selected
source and tuner presets will be retained in the
player’s memory.
●
If the system is in normal standby mode with
clock display, press and hold
ECO POWER/
STANDBY-ON
B
for 3 seconds or more to
switch to Eco power standby or vice versa.
Volume control
Turn
VOLUME (-/+)
clockwise or anticlockwise
(or press
VOL +/-
on the remote) to increase
or decrease the volume level.

“Volume = XX” is displayed on the display
panel. “XX” denotes the volume level.
To switch off the volume temporarily

Press
MUTE
on the remote.

Playback will continue without sound and
“Muting” flashes.
●
To activate sound reproduction, you can:
– press
MUTE
again;
– adjust the volume controls;
– change source.
To listen through the headphone
●
Connect the headphone plug to the

socket
on the front panel.

The speakers will be muted.
Sound control
DBB, DSC and LOUDNESS sound features
cannot be activated at the same time.
DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost)

Press
DBB
on the remote control to enable/
disable DBB feature.

Some discs might be recorded in high
modulation, which causes a distortion at high
volume. If this occurs, switch off DBB or reduce
the volume.
DSC (Digital Sound Control)
●
Press
DSC
on the remote control repeatedly to
select: Classic Mode, Jazz Mode, Rock Mode, Pop
Mode or Flat Mode.
LOUDNESS
●
Press
LOUDNESS
on the remote to enable or
disable LOUDNESS feature.
➜
“Loudness On” or “Loudness Off ” appears
briefly after this feature is enabled/disabled.
Dimming the display screen
●
Press
DIM
repeatedly to select different levels of
brightness for the display screen.
