OWNLOAD

When HD receiver boots up, the boot loader in the Flash ROM waits for user’s key input for
firmware update. By sending any message to HD receiver through RS-232 port within five
seconds after boot-up, you can activate the firmware update procedure. If you have serial
cable and PC, you can download a new firmware using HyperTerminal in MS Windows.

Step 1

Connect PC and HD receiver using a serial cable. Open HyperTerminal in Accessories
Group and set communication port.

Step 2

Set port property as shown in figure below.
