Set Rating Limit [2]
The Set Rating Limit allows you to prevent rated programs from being watched. The
rating information of a program can be achieved from EIT and RRT table for a digital TV
program, and from VCHIP information for a analog TV program. HD receiver is compliant
with EIA-766 rating system for ATSC DTV.
If you want to watch any program whose rate is over the limit defined in the Set Rating Limit,
you have to type correct password to override the rating limit.
Select MPAA rating limit in the MPAA
Rating radio box.
Select TV rating limit in the TV Parental
Guidelines radio box.
Select OK button. If you want to clear
current rating limit, select Reset button.
When you are tuning to the program
whose rating violates the user-defined
rating limit, HD STB displays the Password
Inquiry dialog box.
Typing correct password overrides the
limit and enables you to watch the
program.
