Re m ote co n trol setti n g
To cha n ge the setti n g of yo u r re m ote co n trol:
- Si mu lta n eo u sly press num ber keys 1 a n d 3 a n d hold the m for at least 5 seco n ds.
- Si mu lta n eo u sly release these two keys.
- E n ter the n ew setti n g withi n the n ext 60 seco n ds:
• Either press 1 (defa u lt setti n g),
• Or press 2 (alter n ative setti n g).
Yo u m ay reset yo u r re m ote co n trol to its defa u lt setti n g by re m ovi n g the batteries
a n d rei n serti n g the m after m ore tha n 3 m i nu tes.

Prior to choosi n g this co nn ectio n m ethod:
• Co n s u lt the u ser m a nu al of yo u r VCR or DVD recorder to check if a n d how this
feat u re is s u pported. Most Philips VCR a n d DVD recorders s u pport a n Easy Record
optio n s.
• Check that yo u r TV a n d VCR or DVD are both fitted with two SCART sockets.
• I n corporate yo u r receiver i n yo u r existi n g i n stallatio n as described below:
