Remote control
Yo u m ay cha n ge yo u r re m ote co n trol setti n g to co n trol
a n other receiver or to keep yo u r receiver’s re m ote
co n trol fro m i n terferi n g with a n other receiver.
- Scroll to Set Code a n d press OK . A m essage is
displayed, pro m pti n g yo u to press OK o n the n ew
re m ote co n trol.
- Cha n ge yo u r re m ote co n trol setti n g as described i n
Re m ote co n trol setti n g a n d the n press the OK key of
yo u r n ew re m ote co n trol withi n the n ext 2 m i nu tes.
- If yo u r receiver accepts the co mm a n d, press OK
agai n to save the n ew setti n g a n d exit.
- If yo u r receiver does n ot accept the co mm a n d, a
fail u re m essage is displayed. Press the red color key to
m ake a n ew atte m pt, or press the gree n color key to
ca n cel a n d exit.
Pare n tal Co n trol
Parental Control is u sed to set locki n g optio n s so as
to e n able PIN code protectio n . Locki n g optio n s i n cl u de
locki n g access to the m e nu , locki n g access to i n divid u al
cha nn els, a n d locki n g access to progra m s accordi n g to
their m at u rity rati n g.
Parental Control is also u sed to cha n ge yo u r receiver
PIN code.
Access Control
Access control is u sed to e n able locki n g optio n s.
Set the appropriate access co n trol level:
• Set Off to disable locki n g optio n s; the PIN Code
will n ever be req u ired.
• Set ON - High to e n able all locki n g optio n ; the
PIN Code will be req u ired each ti m e a protected
co n te n t is accessed.
• Set ON - Medium to e n able all locks; the PIN Code
will n ot be asked m ore tha n o n ce every 20 m i nu tes.
• Set ON - Low to e n able receiver locki n g o n ly; the
PIN Code will be asked the first ti m e a protected
co n te n t is accessed after waki n g u p the receiver.
Maturity Level
Maturity level is u sed to set PIN code protectio n o n
progra m s accordi n g to their m at u rity rati n g.
Set a m at u rity level fro m Age 3 or less to Age
1
7 to
preve n t un desired access to progra m s for which m at u rity
rati n g is higher, or set Off to disable PIN code protectio n .
