Remote access
Remote access allows you to easily monitor and control your AutoFlex Connect from remote
devices, including desktop and laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones. There are two types of
remote access:
on-site
and
off-site
. Off-site remote access requires an Internet connection, but on-
site and remote access does not; both require you to configure the network on your control.
On-site connections
To connect from on-site, you need the IP address and hostname from the About screen.
In the example above, you would type
192.168.100.132?device=AutoFlex-0A84FF
into the
address bar of your browser. After connecting to your AutoFlex, create a “bookmark” or “favorite”.
On a computer you can do this by pressing CTRL+D on your keyboard.
Exact capitalization of the hostname is required. If you see the following message,
you have typed the hostname incorrectly.
Please check your device name or refresh to try again (CTRL+F5).
Off-site connections
After you have configured the network and restarted your AutoFlex Connect, it will be available
remotely. The two best ways to connect from off-site are:

