ActiveSync problems
I’m unable to connect my device to my PC.
•Make sure you have correctly installed the correct sync software (either ActiveSync or
Windows Mobile Device Center, depending on the version of Windows on your PC).
•DO NOT plug in the USB cable before starting ActiveSync.
•Make sure the ActiveSync cable is connected securely.
•On your PC, make sure the correct Connection settings are selected in
File
>
Connection Settings
.
ActiveSync is connected, but I cannot transfer data.
•Make sure your have established a connection with the PC, and check
Tools > Options
in Microsoft ActiveSync on your PC, to see if the information type you want has been
selected for synchronizing. See more details about Synchronizing information in chapter 3.
Display & Sound problems
Screen freezes or does not respond to taps or key-presses.
•Soft reset your device by pressing the Reset button with the Stylus.
I can’t hear any sounds on my device.
•Check the Sounds settings by tapping
Start > Settings > Personal
