Setting the stitch length / fullness

The stitch length is determined by setting the feed strokes of the roller presser and feed

wheel. To apply fullness the feed stroke of the roller presser must be larger than that of the

feed wheel.

Entering the standard stitch length / fullness

After the machine has been switched on, the current values for the stitch lengths of the

roller presser and feed wheel are shown on the display screen.

Switch on the machine.

●

Set the stitch length ( feed stroke ) of the roller presser by pr/- ( key P ).

●

Set the stitch length ( feed stroke ) of the feed wheel by pr/- ( key L ).

Entering a second stitch length / fullness

With the

program key

a second fullness setting can be stipulated in addition to the standard

setting. When the

program key

is activated, it is possible to switch from one fullness to the

other using the knee switch.

Switch on the machine.

●

Press the

program key

●

Sew 1 – 2 stitches and operate the knee switch.

●

Set the stitch length ( feed stroke ) of the roller presser by pr/- ( key P ).

●

Set the stitch length ( feed stroke ) of the feed wheel by pr/- ( key L ).
