6 - STARTING UP AND SWITCHING OFF THE DEVICE
After making the connections:
make sure that the seal is correctly positioned on the base.
Insert the cover (fig. 5) and press until it is up against the captive screw; the
fastons of the circuit part and the terminals of the base touch; the signal reception
and time synchronization indicator LEDs
Switch on the mains voltage to 230 V~
The device awaits

Secure the cover by tightening the captive screw located on the lower part of the
base; tighten the screw until the cover is pressed against the seal, ensuring a
hermetic seal (fig. 8).

Ensure proper cable channelling in accordance with current regulations.
For proper connection of the devices to this receiver, carefully follow the wiring diagram provided in the instruction manual of the
device to be connected.
In order to achieve greater immunity from electrical interferences, the BUS can be connected using a shielded cable; in this case, the
cover of the cable itself must be connected to terminal 2 and the central cable to terminal 1.
Connect the BUS to the devices to be
synchronized as shown in fig. 4.
The connection must be parallel.
Max cable length 1,000 m between GPS
receiver and connected devices.

4 - INSTALLING THE BASE
Device intended for outdoor installation, but may work inside if not completely shielded.
Remove the cover.

Secure the base with a screw, using the holes on the bracket.
Insert the cable gland nuts on the cables (external diameter of cable
).
Appropriately perforate the membrane of the fairlead grommets, and insert them on the
cables (Fig. 3).
Insert the fairlead grommets into their housings.
Tighten the cable gland nuts so that a hermetic seal is obtained.
Disconnect the 230V~ mains voltage.
7 ÷ 11 mm
Insert the cables in the base and make the appropriate electrical connections.
Connect the 230V~ power supply terminal
line, terminal
neutral.
Connect the devices to be synchronized as described in Chapter 5.
