Wheel forks

Wheel fork with friction brake.

Wheel forks

(Item: 1820316, 1820315)

Removal

1.

Turn off the main power switch on the control
panel.

2.

Lift the wheelchair chassis and support it on
blocks so that the appropriate wheel is off the
ground.

3.

Remove the front wheel; see page 11.

4.

Remove the wheel fork. It is attached with a
bolt from beneath; see figure.

Fitting

Fitting is the reverse procedure.

Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to
55 ft-Ibs (75 Nm).
