4. Discard the o-ring and spring supplied with the
replacement lamp.
5. Without touching the lamp window, place the new lamp
into the 2020 lampholder, window first. See Figure 22 .

NOTE: If you have a UV lamp with a white serial number label, it is
possible that the UV lamp may not fit into the lampholder. Do
not force the lamp into the lampholder. See Troubleshooting on
page 132.
6. Replace the lamp housing cover. Tighten the cover
down with the multi-tool. Do not overtighten.
7. Calibrate all Cal Memories that you are using and then
continue normal operation.
Cleaning the UV Lamp Window
During the course of normal operation, a film builds up on the
window of the UV lamp. The rate at which the film develops
depends on the type and concentration of the gases and vapors
being sampled and results from the UV light interacting with them.
