126 . MultiScope System Microscope User's Reference

Cleaning the Microscope Cover

You can clean the outside of the microscope using a damp cloth. Mild detergent

may be used, if necessary. Always perform a patch test on an inconspicuous area of

the microscope, before you clean the entire instrument.

Avoid spilling liquid into the microscope. Clean all external spills immediately. If

anything that is spilled enters the main body of the microscope, switch off the

power and call a PerkinElmer Service Engineer.

CAUTION

Ensure the power is switched off and the supply lead is

disconnected before cleaning the cover.
