Battery tool use and care
Recharge only with the charger
specified by the manufacturer.
A
charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when
used with another battery pack.
Use power tools only with specifically
designated battery packs.
Use of any
other battery packs may create a risk of
injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it
away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws
or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to
another.
Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may
be ejected from the battery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
additionally seek medical help.
Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
Service
Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts.
This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
WARNING:
For safety reasons, do
not plug in the charger, charge the
battery or operate the tool until this
Owner’s Manual has been read and
understood.
Always use safety goggles
or other
suitable eye protection.
Always check to make sure the area
where screws are being driven does not
have any hidden wiring.
Contact with a
“live” wire will make exposed metal parts of
the tool “live” and could result in an electric
shock to the operator.
Do not drive screws or break into existing
walls or other blind areas where electrical
wiring may exist. If this situation is
unavoidable, remove all fuses or
disconnect all breakers feeding the work
area.
Secure the workpiece in a vice or with
clamps. Never hold in hand or across
legs.
The rotating action of the screwdriver
may cause the bit to come loose from the
screw and cause injury.
Never carry the cordless screwdriver
with finger on the switch.
The tool is
always in an “ON” condition when the
battery is charged.
Never hold the body of the cordless
screwdriver near the switch while
changing screwdriver bits.
Accidentally
touching the switch may start the tool and
possibly cause an injury.
Always use the correct shape of
screwdriver bit that matches the head
of the screw.
