WARNING: The use of optical instruments such as, but not limited to,
telescopes or transits to view the laser beam will increase eye hazard.
The laser shall be used and maintained in accordance with the
manufacture’s instruction.
Never aim the beam at any person or an object other than the work piece.
Always ensure the laser beam is aimed at a sturdy work piece without
reflective surface. I.e. wood or rough coated surface are acceptable. Bright
shiny reflective sheet or the like is not suitable for laser use as the reflective
surface could direct the beam back at the operator.
Do not attempt to activate the laser when the tool housing is removed.
The laser is activated by means a button switch independent with the main
switch of the saw.
Do not change the laser light assembly with a different type. Any repairs
must only be carried out by the laser manufacture or authorized service
agent.
Do not attempt to repairs the laser guide by yourself.
Do not attempt to change any parts of the laser guide.
SPECIfIC SAfETY RULES fOR MITER SAW
ALWAYS
wear eye protection.
DO NOT
operate saw without guards in place.
BE SURE
turn off tool and wait for saw blade to stop before moving
workpiece or changing settings.
BE SURE
disconnecting power before changing blade or servicing.
DO NOT
expose to rain or use in damp location.
WHEN SERVICING,
use only identical replacement parts.
ALWAYS
firmly clamp or bolt your miter saw to a secure, stable workbench
or table at approximately hip height.
BE SURE
that all adjustments are secure
