PIVOT ADJUSTMENTS
NOTICE: These adjustments were
made at the factory and under normal
circumstances do not require
re-adjustment.
Saw-Arm Travel Pivot Adjustment:
Your saw arm should rise (travel) completely
to the up position by itself after release
head assembly lock pin (Fig. 14).
WARNING:
To avoid risk of
personal injury, if your saw arm does not
rise by itself or if there is play in the pivot
joints, have your saw serviced by qualified
person before using.
bevel Pivot Adjustment:
Your miter saw arm should bevel easily
by lifting the bevel locking lever and tilting
the saw arm to the left.
To avoid risk of
personal injury, if movement is tight or if
there is play in the bevel pivot, have your
saw serviced by qualified person before
using.
DEPTH-STOP ADJUSTMENT
(fIG. 15)
The depth-stop adjustment is used to limit
the blade depth.
1. Unplug the saw.
2. To adjust the cutting depth, loosen the
lock nut, rotate the depth-stop bolt to
the desired position, and tighten the
lock nut.
TELESCOPING LEG (fIG. 16)
The miter saw has an integrated telescoping
leg for stability. To use this feature, just pull
the leg out, as shown in Fig. 16.
