4.5 Advanced BIOS Features 

The Advanced BIOS Features menu, as shown below, is the section of the 

BIOS to configure advanced settings. 

 

Intel TXT(LT) Configuration 

Select this option to set the Intel TXT(LT) parameters. 

Trusted Computing 

Select this option to set the Trusted Computing parameters. 

Virus Warning 

Select this option to enable or disable the VIRUS Warning feature for the IDE 

Hard Drive boot sector protection. The default setting is set to 

Disabled

. 

 

When set to 

disabled

, no warning message displays when there is an attempt 

to access the boot sector or hard drive partition table. 

When set to 

enabled

, this setting automatically activates when the system 

boots up, displaying a warning message when there is an attempt to access 

the boot sector of hard drive partition table.
