4.1 Entering Setup  

To enter the setup screens, perform the following steps: 

 

1.  

Turn on the computer and press the <Del> key immediately. 

2.  

After the <Del> key is pressed, the main BIOS setup menu displays. 

Other setup screens can be accessed from the main BIOS setup menu, such 

as the Chipset and Power menus. 

 

Note

: If the BIOS setup menu did not display, restart the system and repeat 

steps 1 and 2. If simultaneously pressing <Ctrl>, <Alt> and <Del> does not 

boot the system, an error message will display and a message to 

Press 

<Del> to enter Setup

 will appear. 

 

4.2 Navigating the BIOS Menu 

Navigation Keys 

The BIOS setup/utility uses a key-based navigation system called hot keys, 

which are displayed at the bottom of the menu. Most of the BIOS setup utility 

hot keys can be used at any time during the setup navigation process. 

The hot keys are <F1>, <F5>, <F6>, <F7>, <F10>, <Enter>, <ESC>, <+>, <-> 

and <

>, <

> ,   <

> ,   <

>  keys.  

 

  Press <Esc> to exit the BIOS Setup. 

 Press 

   

 (up, down, left, right) to navigate the main menu. 

  Press Page Up/Page Down or +/– keys to modify the BIOS parameters. 

General Help 

Press <F1> to display the General Help menu that describes the key usage 

and selections of highlight options.  

To exit the General Help menu, press <Esc>.
