Keep rubber covers closed
Please always close rubber covers (SD, USB, AUX-in socket) on the side of the radio when these
input sockets are not in use. This is to prevent moist and dust from entering the radio. This will also
enhance overall sound quality.
Note:
Rubber cover of the SD socket can best be closed when in use with a SD card. For the USB socket
it is advised to use the included silicon USB cover when using a USB stick.
Note:
In dusty and moist conditions! When using the radio with a USB stick plugged into the radio in dusty
or moist conditions, always use the rubber USB cover to shield and protect the radio and the USB
stick. Also make sure all other rubber covers are closed in these conditions
Charging MP3 player or mobile phone during the playback
Rockpro 2 is capable of charging a MP3 media player or mobile phone via USB slot when the radio
is in Aux In mode.
Note:
The USB slot can offer 5V 0.5A power to charge external device by AC power and 5V 0.25A by
battery power. It is recommended to use AC power to power the radio while charging MP3 media
device or mobile phone via USB slot. Battery is also able to charge the device, however using the
battery to charge the device will consume much energy and drain the battery easily.
The USB charging may not support the entire iPod and iPhone range.
Loudness On/Off
Press the Loudness On/Off button to get compensation on lower and higher frequency. The effect
will be more audible when the radio is in lower volume level. Display will show Loudness ON when
Loudness function is applied.
