Disassembling Your Juicer:
1)
Before disassembling the juicer, let the machine run for an additional minute until
all or most of the pulp has been pushed through.
2)
Shut the motor. Never try to disassemble your machine while the motor is
running.
3)
Try to loosen the locking ring (#7) by hand in a clockwise direction. If this is too
hard, use the enclosed wrench (#10). Place wrench such that arm
extends to the
right horizontally
while you are facing the front of the pulp outlet. Push
down.
Practice screwing and unscrewing the outlet a few times. It is done opposite
of what you might expect!
4)
Remove gasket from inside locking ring.
5)
Remove grinding auger and bushing from inside juicer body. If bushing comes
out, that is fine; if it stays snug in place, leave it there.
6)
Loosen key lock and remove juicer body from motor.
7)
Remove screen from juicer body. If screen gets stuck, do not use pliers to pull it
out of the body. Instead, use a screwdriver to push it out by maneuvering it in
through the back and into the slot in the strainer. Normally it should be pulled out
by pressing your thumb on it and pulling out.
Cleaning Your Juicer:
We suggest that stores wash, dry and reassemble the juicer
immediately to avoid losing parts.
1)
Wash all parts by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. A baby bottle
brush works well to clean the inside of the juicer body.
2)
Dry parts with towel.
3)
Lightly sponge clean the motor base; do not pour water into motor or submerge it
in water.
4)
Reassemble the juicer.
