Network Discovery
(Optional) Enter the Workgroup name
Enables you to change the NetBIOS workgroup name. Workgroups are used
primarily by Microsoft Windows. The workgroup name determines where in
your Network Neighborhood you will find the Peregrine appliance.
The Peregrine appliance has a shared directory into which you can deposit:

license files when you receive them from Peregrine Customer Support
„
updated software components
„
scan files
The current workgroup name is shown below. The default name is
WORKGROUP.
The workgroup name must be 1-15 characters long. The name may contain only
alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), hyphen (-) and period (.). Spaces are not
permitted.
To enter the workgroup name
1 Click Administration > Appliance management > Workgroup.
2 Type the workgroup name.
3 Click Change .
