5. Trouble Shooting
If you are having difficulties with your CDRW Jukebox, we recommend that you
run through the following checklist or visit our website for more technical support
before sending it for servicing. It could be that you simply overlooked a crucial
step.
1. I cannot power on the CDRW Jukebox
+ Make sure the CDRW Jukebox is connected to a power supply and the power
switch at the back panel is turned on.
+ The USB cable should not be connected.
+ If the problem remains, please turn off the entire power supply, wait for a while
and turn the unit back on again.
2. The AA battery inside the remote control drains even if I haven’t used it
for some time. What causes this?
+ The remote control always uses some battery power. When it’s turned off, it is
in the power saving mode.
3. Why can’t I play music from CD-ROM?
+ Make sure your CD-ROM is properly inserted.
+ Make sure your CD-ROM is recorded properly.
4. Problems encountered while connecting to the PC for download.
+ Make sure the PDJockey is properly installed and invoked on the PC.
+ Make sure the USB cable is connected and the Jukebox front panel display “PC
Connected”.
5. Why can’t I play tracks from the SmartMedia Card?
+ The CDRW Jukebox only supports downloading to SmartMedia Card, and not
playing directly from it or uploading back to the Jukebox.
6. Why can’t I download some songs to the SmartMedia Card?
+ The only songs can be downloaded to the SmartMedia Card are the
compressed songs.
7. I have inserted a blank CD-R or CD-RW in the CDRW Jukebox already,
but why does the CDRW Jukebox keep telling me “Invalid Type of CD” and
don’t allow me to burn CD ?
+ Only CD-R for Audio and CD-RW for Audio are supported in CDRW Jukebox,
ordinary CD-R and CD-RW for use with CD rewriters in PC are identified and
banned from burning any data onto them.
