2.2 Additional Features
This section shows you some of the CDRW Jukebox functions that are not
frequently used, but you may need it sometimes.
2.2.1 Compressing Files Stored in Hard Drive
You can choose to compress archived songs instantly without waiting for the
Jukebox to enter into sleep mode. This only applies to songs that are
uncompressed, usually happens when you have just finished archived an audio
CD. Uncompressed songs has a music note in front, compressed songs has a
music note with a ‘M’ tail.
(1) Select the song and press
REC

If it is an uncompressed song, the only option in the Record Menu is to
compress. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
Note: If it is a compressed song, the only option is download to SMC. Details
please refer to the SmartMedia Card download section.
2.2.2 Play from Line-In
CDRW Jukebox allows you to play directly from line-in from any audio source.
This audio source can be a FM radio, MD, cassette player, vinyl record machine
etc. When the jukebox is connected to an amplifying system, it becomes a
channel for amplifying music.
(1) Connect an audio source to the line-in jack located at the back of the
Jukebox.
(2) Begin playing the audio source.

In the main menu, select line-in. Press
