4.1 Introduction
Components
To commission the module, you will require the following components:
• WCS-ECG410 interface module
• ESI file (the ESI file can be obtained free of charge from our website www.pepperl-
fuchs.com.)
• Cordset from the interface module to the read head
• Connector for the EtherCAT connection to the interface module
• Ethernet cable
• 10 VDC...30 VDC voltage supply
Downloading the ESI File
You will need an ESI file to operate the module described in this manual. The ESI file must be
imported into the corresponding configuration tool before commissioning the module. The ESI
file can be downloaded from our website: http://www.pepperl-fuchs.com. Simply enter the
product name or item number in the product/keyword field and click "Search."

function.

A list of all available downloads is displayed.
