Safety Function and Safe State
Safe State
The safe state depends on the limit value in the respective application.
Safety Function
The device transfers analog signals from the input to the output with a deviation of less
than 2 %.
Values outside the range of the output signals indicate a fault in the periphery or within
the device and a dangerous detected failure. The valid range is
•
3.6 mA to 21 mA for current outputs and
•
0.9 V to 5.25 V for voltage outputs.

The outputs can be configured as:

4 mA to 20 mA current output
•
1 V to 5 V voltage output

Line Fault Detection
The line fault detection is always active. The line fault detection cannot be deactivated.
Reaction Time
The reaction time for all safety functions is < 10 ms.
