4.5.2 Power Management Setup
ACPI Aware O/S
ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) evolves the existing motherboard
configuration interfaces to support these advanced architectures in a more robust, and
potentially more efficient manner.
Power Management/APM
If “Enabled”, an Advanced Power Management device will be activated to enhance the
Max. Power Saving mode and stop the CPU internal clock. If Advance Power
Management (APM) is installed on your system, selecting “Enabled” gives better
power savings. The choices: Disabled, Enabled
Video Power Down Mode
This item specifies the power state that the video subsystem enters when AMIBIOS
places it in a power saving state after a pre-specified period of display inactivity has
expired. The choices: Disabled, Standby, Suspend.
