4.5.1 Advanced CMOS Setup
Select “Advanced CMOS Setup” and press <Enter>, then the screen will be replaced
with another individual one for Advanced CMOS Setup, shown as figure 4. You can

This options sets the primary device for the initial boot sequence after the AMIBIOS
POST is done. It contains 11 selections for you to choose to boot the system from or
Disabled for none. The Choice: Disabled, IDE-0, IDE-1, IDE-3, Floppy, LS-120,
ATAPI ZIP, CDROM, SCSI, NETWORK, I20.
Summary Screen
You can select “Enabled” to show the system summary information after POST (Power
On Self Test) or “Disabled” to hide it.
External Cache
Select “Enabled” to use the External Cache.
