Resetting router

•

Turn router on and wait for ADSL LED to lit or start blinking.

•

Press and hold

DEFAULT

button on the back panel of router for 5-10 seconds and then

release it.

•

After reset LEDs will return to their normal behavior and all settings will be reset to their
default value. You can login to router configuration page using default username and
password: admin / pentagram.

Connecting Cerberus to Computer.

You can connect ADSL router with PC through either Ethernet cable or USB cable.

Connecting via Ethernet Port (Ethernet Card)

All Ethernet ports of router are made in the technology, which automatically activates
Crossover if necessary. Thanks to autonegotiation of connection speed the router will
automatically select the maximum available speed rate. Transfer at 10/100 Mbit/s rate
requires the category 5 cable wired with RJ-45 connectors. In case of "straight" cable both
connectors must be crimped in standard EIA/TIA 568B. In case of Crossover cable one
connector must be in standard EIA/TIA 56A, and the second in EIA/TIA 568B. After connecting
the device to one of the ports, corresponding LED will begin to blink. That signals the process
of the auto-checking of port and the negotiation of connection speed rate.

Connecting via USB Port

You can connect ADSL router with PC via USB cable when there is no Networking LAN Card
present on your PC. USB cable acts as another LAN connection in this scenario. Once you
establish Internet connection, you can browse the Web through the USB cable.

Connect ADSL Router and PC with USB cable.

Once “Detect New USB Device” window pops out, click

Cancel

Insert Driver CD and in menu click

Install USB Driver

.

Click four times

Next

. If Program Installation window pops up click

Continue anyway

5.

Driver will be installed automatically.

6.

Click

Finish

to end installation.

Network connection should work properly after system restart.

To check if USB device is installed properly, click
