SAFETY
Additional Passengers:
The Pedego Conveyor was designed for a single passenger.
DO NOT carry any additional passengers.
Weight Limit:
The Pedego Conveyor was designed with a maximum weight
capacity of 250 lbs or 113 kg. Exceeding the maximum weight
capacity can result in damage of the bike or components which can
lead to serious injury.
Use Good Judgement:
Ride within your limit. Electric bikes are heavier and operate at a
higher average speed than a traditional non-electric pedal bike.
Take extra precautions when riding to ensure your safety and the
safety of others. Remember to look ahead down the path and an-
ticipate any upcoming obstacles. Practice braking earlier than you
normally would to avoid any collisions.
In The Event of a Crash:
Crashes can place a great deal of stress on your bike’s material
and components. Before you continue your ride, check your bike
for damage and impaired functions. Do not continue your ride if
any damage or impaired function is apparent. If you are unsure of
anything, contact the place of purchase.
Wet Weather Riding:
Riding a bicycle in wet weather can be dangerous and certain
precautions should be taken. Wet weather significantly reduces
visibility, traction, and braking power leading to increased stopping
distance. To make sure that you can safely slow down and stop in
wet weather, ride cautiously at a lower speed than you normally
would. When applying the brakes, pull the levers gently and earlier
than you would under normal, dry conditions.
