Weight Kit Installation
A weight kit must be installed to your unit as a
counterweight for the collection system. This universal
weight kit is designed to fit all series of Big Dog
mowers. Depending on your mower series, the
positioning of the weight brackets may need to be
adjusted.
Secure the (2) weight brackets P#(B0039) to the front
casters of the mower using (1) 3/8”-16 u-bolt P#(K1419)
and (2) 3/8”-16 nylon flange lock nuts P#(K2012) PER
Bracket. Insert the u-bolts from the bottom so that the
locknuts are on top of the weight bracket.
NOTE: It is recommended that a support such as a floor
Jack be used during the weight bar installation.
Figure A
Lift the weight bar P(B0034) into position underneath
the weight bracket. Secure the weight bar using (2) 12”-
13 U-bolts P#(K0331) and (4) 1/2”-13 nylon flange
locknuts P#(K2012). Refer to Figure A for reference.
TIP: Leave the hardware slightly loose until the weight
brackets and weight bar have been positioned correctly.
Once positioned, tighten the hardware.
