INPUT LEVEL
Eight 5-segment LED ladder displays indicate audio input levels in the digital
domain just after the analog to digital (A/D) converter. The range of the meter is based on
full-scale performance of the A/D converter. The analog input level required to Drive the con-
verter to full-scale will vary based on the setting of the Full-Scale Input Sensitivity switches
(see pages 16-19 & 21). 0 dB will illuminate at approximately 1 dB below the full-scale level.
OUTPUT LEVEL
Eight 5-segment LED ladder displays indicate audio output levels in the
digital domain just before the digital to analog (D/A) converter. The range of the meter is
based on digital signal level at the MediaMatrix BoB output device. This meter does not indi-
cate analog levels at the output of the MM-8802. Actual analog audio levels will vary based on
the setting of the Full-Scale Output switches (see pages 16-19 & 21).
SAMPLE RATE LEDS
Indicates the current operating sample frequency. The sample rate is
determined by the compiled configuration in the connected MediaMatrix
®
system. The MM-
8802 can operate at 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz.
FAULT LED
When this LED is on, a fault has occurred within the MM-8802 hardware. This
LED should be off during normal operation. The function of this LED is duplicated by the rear
panel Fault Contact connector. See next page.
LINK LED
When this LED is on, the MM-8802 has successfully connected to the associated
MediaMatrix system. This LED should be on during normal operation.
POWER LED
This LED indicates the presence of mains AC power as determined by the
position of the rear panel power switch.
