Output Wiring Block Device Features

CLIP

(Typ. each channel) This LED indicates audio clippingin the digital domain. The LED

will illuminate when the DPU digital audio peak level at the output block e23 dB.

MUTE

(Typ. each channel) This is a “maintained” ON/OFF button. When in the down (ON

or MUTE) position, the outgoing digital audio is muted. The mute stage is in the DPU,
before the MM-8802’s D/A converter.

LEVEL

(Typ. each channel) This control and its associated numeric indicator adjusts the

amount of digital output level. This control is in the DPU, before the MM-8802’s D/A con-
verter. The range is -100 dB to 0 dB.
