5.5.2 Access via Windows
Install on your Windows Device a SAT>IP compliant client� After configuring the
client, you can access the PEAKnx NET-TV� About RTSP links you can access the
Server, e�g� through the VLC player�
Note:
Some software and hardware solutions are not suitable to show HD channels
without interference.
5.5.3 Access via Linux OS
The PEAKnx NET-TV is usable with a Linux operating system with various SAT>IP
capable software clients� For the configuration, please refer to the information in the
documentation of the respective software provider��
5.5.4 Access via Hardware Client
You can use various SAT> IP-capable receivers from different manufacturers as a
hardware client with the PEAKnx NET-TV� For the configuration, please refer to the
information in the respective manufacturer's manual�
5.5.5 BrowserTV

VLC Media Player
(Windows OS), a personal M3U list can be created� You can
download this tool under http://www�videolan�org/vlc to create individual lists for
M3U lists for numerous software solutions�
5.6 Operation conditions
5.6.1 Regular operation
The PEAKnx NET-TV can be operated in a network either alone, or together with
further PEAKnx NET-TV Devices�
Also SAT>IP servers from other manufacturers can be used together with the PEAKnx
NET-TV�
5.6.2 Cascaded operation
Several PEAKnx NET-TV network tuner can be active in one network�
5.6.3 StandBy Mode
The PEAKnx NET-TV has a power saving function� If no tuner in used, the PEAKnx
NET-TV has a power consumption about 3,5 Watt�
