Option Registers
Common option registers have their own buttons, which display option bit values. Setting bit values this
way is easier and less prone to error than combining the bit values into a number yourself (Figure 16).

Interacting with EPROM
Data is not permanently saved until you write it to EPROM memory! (Figure 17)

1. Click an option register button to
display its point values.
2. Option registers are bit-oriented.
Check the option values you want.
They will be written to the
Write to
Modbus
data field.
3. The bit-values as combined in the
Modbus register are in the
Write to
Modbus
data field.
4. Click
Set
to store the values.
(Values are saved, but must be
separately saved in EPROM to make
them permanent.)

Click
Save Memory
to write points list to EPROM.
Click Load Memory t
o write registers from EPROM. This is
effectively a “Cancel” operation, returning you to your last
memory save.
Click
Load Default
to set all points to default values. You are
starting over by selecting this option.
