3 Mounting instructions

Observe the following:
•
The mounting location must be selected in line with local regulations.
•
Observe the ventilation conditions. Do not place the sensors next to air outlets, intake and
exhaust openings, etc.
•
If possible, place the sensor in locations with low vibration, stable temperature and
protected from sunlight.
•
Avoid contact of the sensor with gushing water, oil, etc. to avoid mechanical damage.
•
Ensure that there is sufficient space around the sensor housing to carry out maintenance
and calibration work.
Depending on the relative gas density (d), the correct mounting height must be observed. The
following applies as a rule:
d <0.95: Mounting under the ceiling
0.95 <d <1.05: Mounting at 1.
5 … 1.8 m height above the floor
d >1,05: Mounting at 0.3 m height above the floor
Exception NO2: Mounting height for NO2 sensors is 0.
5 … 0.8 m above the floor.
