HARDWARE CONFIGURATION
The Pentium® II Baby AT motherboard is based on the Intel® 440EX or 440LX
Chipset. The chipset is a highly integrated solution for a cost-effective and
compact motherboard. The motherboard supports SDRAM and 3.3V EDO.
Features on-board include super-I/O, Ultra DMA33, PCI bus master IDE, AGP
Ver 1.0, PCI Ver 2.1 compliant, USB, VRM 8.1 compliant, ECC (440LX ver. only),
LM79 hardware monitoring(optional). This motherboard is ready for the PC98
requirements.

• Full support for Intel® Pentium® II and Celeron processors using slot
1 connector.
• Support bus speed of 66 MHz, this includes all Pentium II and Celeron
processors from 233MHz to 333MHz and future processor .
VRM (Voltage Regulator Modules) on Board
• Flexible motherboard design with on-board VRM 8.1, easy to upgrade
with Intel’s Future Overdrive processors.
Cache
• Pentium ® II Processor built-in L2 cache (the Tag RAM and 2 or 4
BSRAMs for 256KB or 512K).
System Memory
• A total of two 168-pin DIMM sockets (EDO / Synchronous DRAM ).
• Supports Extended Data Out (EDO) DRAM at 50ns and 60ns Speeds.
• Support Symmetrical and Asymmetrical DRAM addressing.
• Memory size up to 256M Bytes for Synchronous DRAM or 512M Bytes for
EDO DRAM.
• Support single density DIMMs of 1M, 2M, 4M ,8M and 16M depth (x64 or
x72).
• Support double density DIMMs of 2M, 4M, 8M, 16M and 32M depth (x64
or x72).
• Support Error Checking and Correction (ECC) using parity DRAM modules
(440LX ver. only).
• Support for Auto Detection of Memory Type.
• Banks of different DRAM types and depths can be mixed.
On-Board I/O
• On board two PCI fast IDE ports supporting up to 4 ATA, ATA2 and Ultra
DMA33 IDE HDDs, CD-ROMs, ZIP drives and LS-120 drives as boot
drive.
