could have a negative impact on machine’s operation. Have the damaged parts repaired prior to
using the machine.

Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f)

Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting blades are less

likely to jam and are easier to control.

g)

Use the power tool, its accessories, substitution tools, etc. in accordance with these instructions
and with instructions specified for this specific type of machine, while observing the given working
conditions and the performed kind of work.

Using power tools for other than the intended purposes may

result in hazardous situations.

5) Service

a)

Have your power tool repaired by qualified personnel, always using only the original spare parts.

This will ensure that the power tool safety is maintained.

Safety Instructions for Your Hedge Trimmer:

Keep all parts of your body away from the cutting blade. Do not remove the cut material and do not
hold the cut material while the blade is running. Make sure the machine is turned off when removing
jammed material.

Losing concentration while operating the hedge trimmer for even a short moment may

result in a serious injury.

Since the cutting blade can come into contact with the power cable, hold the power tool by its
insulated handling surfaces.

Shall the cutting blade come into contact with the power cable, such a

contact may expose the conductive parts of the machine to voltage and thus cause an electric shock to the
operator.

Hold the hedge trimmer by its handle when the blade is not running. When transporting or storing
the power tools, always use the protective cover.

Proper handling of the machine reduces the risk of

blade-related injuries.

Keep the cable away from the cutting mechanism.

While operating the machine, the cable may become

hidden in the shrubs and can be accidently cut by the blade.

ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF REAR HAND

For easy use is hedge trimmer equipped with a swivel rear handle, which can be adjusted to 3 different positions
on the right 90°, on the left 90° and a normal position of 0°. Adjusting rear handle helps to suit the right-hand or
left--hand persons to hold hedge trimmer in a comfortable position especially when is used vertically.
When adjusting the handle to a different position, please proceed as follows (Fig. 3):
Release the switch. Press rear handle lock button (7). This unlocks handle and it can be rotated to the desired
position. The locking button will click again to secure the handle against unintentional rotation in desired position.
Please make sure that the handle locking button is pressed only when the ON/OFF switch is not pressed. Make
sure that the locking button fits to its position after adjusting the swivel handle. Only then can be hedge trimer
switched ON.
