7. Place the fitter on the post, then secure it with three
fitter screws.
CAUTION: With silicone caulking compound, caulk
completely around where the fitter meets with the
post surface to prevent water from seeping into the
post.
8. For the first time use, the solar light requires up to
8 hours or longer of full and direct sunlight to fully
charge the battery.
9. If the battery is fully charged and the switch is in “ON” position, the light will turn on automatically
at nighttime and turn off at daytime.
This unit has a switch that can be found on the bottom of the dome and must be turned the
switch in “ON” position before installing. Place fixture in a location that gets full sun for at least 8
hours. It may take a few days in the sun to reach full capacity.
Troubleshooting
If light does not work, to locate the defect, please follow these steps:
Cover the solar panel to simulate darkness and LED should light immediately.
Check that the battery have been charged (normal battery can be used temporarily). The
rechargeable battery always need a few hours of daylight to recharge sufficiently.
Ensure the light is not in shade during the daytime.
Performance
The performance of your solar light varies with the seasons of year. The solar light will light longer
each night in summer than in winter.
How to replace battery
1. Switch off the product.
2. Turn the solar post lamp upside down and remove four
screws from the metal frame. (See Figure.1)
3. Unscrew three screws from dome, open the dome and
unscrew the screw of battery compartment, remove the
battery compartment. (See Figure.3)
4. Remove the old battery. Make certain that the new
battery is lithium (1400 mAh/3.7V) rechargeable.
Install the new batterys into the battery compartment.
Make certain the battery is placed according to the
correct polarity. (See Figure.4)
5. Restore the dome and metal frame back and reinstall
the solar post lamp onto the pole.
Maintenance
1. Periodically clean the top surface of the unit for best
solar energy collection. Do not put any pressure
on the solar panel during cleaning. Do not use solvents.
2. Keep the solar panel free of snow and debris to allow
the battery to charge properly.
