3.6.6 Create Hot Spare (Global only)
The
“Create Hot Spare”
option gives you the ability to define a global hot
spare.
When you choose the “
Create Hot Spare”
option in the Raid Set Function, all
the unused physical devices connected to the current controller will appear:
Select the target disk by clicking on the appropriate check box. Check the
Confirm the Operation
, and click on the
Submit
button in the screen to
create the hot spare(s).
