Connec ti ng the hob to the mains power supply
This hob m ust be connected to the mai n power supply by a qu ali fi ed personnel.
Before connec ti ng the hob to the mai ns power supply , check th at:
1. the do m estic wiring syste m is suitable for the power drawn by the hob.
2. the voltage corresponds to the speci ficati ons provided in the ma nual and data label.
3. the power supply cable sec ti ons can withstand the load speci fi ed on the ra ti ng plate.
To connect the hob to the mai ns power supply , do not use adapters , reducers , or branching devices ,
as they can cause overhea ti ng and fi re. The power supply cable m ust not touch any hot parts and
m ust be posi ti oned so that its te m perature will not e x ceed 75 ˚ C at any point.
Check with an electrician whether the do m es ti c wiring syste m is suitable without altera ti ons.
An y altera ti ons m ust only be mad e by a q uali fi ed technician.
The power supply should be connected in co m pliance with the relevant local standard.
