Each header contains a
stainless steel brush that
runs the length of the pipe.
It’s connected to the
handwheel on the end for
easy access. At a regular
interval, or if your header
is beginning to fill with
solids and the nozzles are
clogging, a turn of the
handwheel will get every-
thing moving again. While

turning the brush, the
wheel also opens a flush-
out valve so all the
material gets swept out of
the pipe without ever
shutting down the sprays.
With at least one complete
turn of the handwheel, the
brush clears each orifice.
Close the valve and you’re
back in operation. You
never need to shut off the
flow.
