Before use
Removing/charging/inserting the battery pack
CAUTION!
► Always unplug the appliance before you remove the battery
pack from or connect the battery pack to the high-speed
battery charger .
NOTE
► The battery pack is supplied partially charged . Before first use,
charge the battery pack in the high-speed battery charger
for at least 1 hour . This ensures maximum performance of
the battery pack . You can charge the lithium-ion battery
at any time without shortening its service life . Interrupting the
charging process does not damage the battery pack .
► If the battery pack overheats during operation, it cannot
be charged . Allow it to cool down first .
■ Never charge the battery pack if the ambient temperature is
below 10°C or above 40°C .
1 . To remove the battery pack , press the release buttons and
pull the battery pack out of the appliance .
2 . Insert the battery pack into the high-speed battery charger .
3 . Insert the mains plug into the socket . The control LED lights up
red .
4 . The green charge level indicator LED indicates that the
charging process is complete and the battery pack is ready
for use .
5 . Insert the battery pack into the appliance .
